Humans of

Trudging the Road of Happy Destiny

Kuya Rod, as fondly called by everyone in Expedise, has been with us since the company started. Being part of the pioneer team has instilled all the core values of the company he holds dear to his heart. A former security guard for 6 years, he decided to leave his comfort zone just when the pandemic started. A leap of faith, prayers and a lot of courage helped him finally decide and turn his life around just when some people were telling him to play it safe.
Hard-working and focused as he is, Rod spends his weekends helping his family around the house doing all sorts of home improvements to ease his wife’s work load. Mountains of laundry? No problem! Never say No seems to be the on-going battle cry nowadays to survive and thrive productively. Another thing we admire with Kuya Rod is his selflessness.

A small act of kindness goes back ten-fold, as they say.

While we are all navigating our way in this pandemic, it’s comforting to know that people like Rod have an open heart and positive outlook to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. And through his story, we get reminded that kindness is magnified by getting help and paying it forward by helping others in any little way we can.
